I couldn't have put it better -- if I hadn't been clicking away on my iPhone every couple of songs, I wouldn't have realized either. I think I already expressed this, but I was profoundly impressed by the entire set, from beginning to end. They certainly deserve rock music immortality, as you put it, if they haven't achieved it yet!

In the the blur of the moment and with all the various thrills of seeing Wilco at such an awesome venue, I was profoundly unware that they had played a nearly thirty-song set. This type of thing is practically unheard-of among most "veteran" classic rock bands, let alone one with only seven long-players under its belt. My friends and I discussed the very tangible possibility that Wilco is on the verge of immortality and will justifiably be talked about and appreciated for years to come. Thanks to Jeff Tweedy, etc., for all the great music they keep giving us.

I've had "Mermaid Avenue" for as long as I can remember, but I only really got into Wilco last September. This was my first concert and I can't believe I waited this long to become a listener/fan!
