Video Blog Milestone: Songwriter Jeff Copperthite at 10,000 views!

It happened literally overnight. I went to sleep lastnight 50 views short of the magic number of 10,000….and this morning I have 10,010! Finally I join my colleagues Chris and Jim in the 5 digit view-count department.

Another milestone has been achieved at our site, and we continue to gain popularity by the day. Our goal, as mentioned a week or two ago by Jim, is to obtain a combined total of 500,000 views by the end of the year. I since told him that we should not only achieve it, but we should shatter that mark by the end of the year.

Think about it - one session per day will mean each of us will have posted at least 121 videos in the year 2008. Many of those will have been up for a good portion of the year. We are constantly making ourselves known in search engines, message boards, and people we know. We are seeing signs of our efforts when we see how many views our blog gets per day, and our video views per day continue to increase steadily.

On March 31, I had 6,791 views, and on February 29th I had 3,932 views. I have averaged about 104 views per day in April, up from 92 views per day in March. And technically, today is far from over as well.
