Traveling Wilburys Acoustic Rock Cover Songs and Free mp3 Downloads

Arguably one of the greatest supergroups in rock music history, the Traveling Wilburys was a recording group composed of former Beatle George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison. These five songwriters co-wrote and released two albums, each of which was a commercial success. This acoustic guitar music group began when Harrison had a single titled “Handle With Care.” One by one, the other future Wilburys came together – Lynne to produce, Petty to hang out, Orbison by request of the boys, and Dylan to provide a studio. Once they had recorded this track, they couldn’t leave it at one mere bit of new rock music. The record label agreed – they each knew how to write a song, they each had been recording for years; this could be fun… It was, and the record stands as a testament to the amazing things that can be produced by a series of circumstances. Some of the best cover songs of the Laptop Sessions, particularly judging by the number of hits from the YouTube videos, are the Traveling Wilburys numbers.
